María Callas en Medea (Cherubini)

This is a slide show made with photographs of Maria Callas as Cherubini's Medea, one of her greatest roles. The photos are from Alexis Minotis's production, performed in Dallas (1958), London (1959), Epidaurus (1961) and Milan (1961 & 1962), where Jon Vickers was Giasone. The sound-track is from the studio recording made in 1957, with the Chorus and Orchestra of Teatro alla Scala, directed by Tullio Serafin. Giasone is sung by Mirto Picchi.
